Mazinger series Mikene Empire - Iguanas

Next in line in the Mazinger Monster series, Mikene Empire's Iguanas, a massive Reptilian Warrior Beast, with 6 legs, spines and comprise of two lizard creatures (the smaller version was capable to detached and reattached from the larger Iguanas, and was capable at firing missiles) and was capable to change color as well flight. Like many of the Reptilian types, it spew fire from its mouth and was invulnerable to many of Great's attacks. The real human face was located on the forehead of the larger Iguanas.

Introduced on Episode 17 of the Great Mazinger series, Iguanas was a massive Reptilian Warrior Beast that accidentally was uncovered while digging, in preparation for a underground surprise attack on the Science Fortress, a process that created an earthquake. At first confused for a Dinosaur, Venus A and Boss Borot were called in to help dig out, but the creature showed its true color and proceed to attack. After disposing of the two, it hunted Tetsuya while he ran back to the Science Fortress to get Great. When Mecha came operational it found itself heavily out maneuver by the Iguanas, but dispose of it by decapitating the Human face wearing head and disposed of the rest of the creature with the Breast Burn.

Iguanas only other appearance in the franchise was in the Manga Mazinger Zero and briefly fighting Dyon Gamma during the Final Countdown intro sequence (along with fellow Reptilian Warrior Beast Jarada) in Mazinkaiser vs The Great General of Darkness - He may had been destroyed by Dyon Gamma as he was not seen with the remaining Warrior Beasts in the final act at the ruins of the Photo Power Lab. The design of Iguanas was the same in the Zero Manga the MKvTGGoD OVA - slicker, but the larger Iguanas had a larger head attached to the body, rather than the smaller head attached to a long neck and was colored purple and black, rather than the multi-color version from the original anime.
